1.Data we collect
Account data: name, email, role (student or coach), and timezone. For coaches, profile data, FIDE data, and identity verification outcome.
Usage data: bookings, attendance, reviews, and activity needed to provide the service.
2.Sensitive data we do not store
Chesskol does not store your card details: our payment processor holds them and we reference them via a token.
Chesskol does not store your identity documents: an external verification service handles them. We receive only the verification outcome.
3.How we use your data
We use your data to operate the platform: create and vet coach profiles, manage bookings and payments, enable lesson replay, display reviews, and communicate about your activity.
4.Lesson recording
Lessons may be recorded to enable replay for the student. Processing follows applicable law and the recording notice shown in the platform.
5.Third parties
We share data with providers that make the service possible (for example payment processing, identity verification, and infrastructure), limited to what they need to perform their function.
6.Your rights
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your data under applicable law. Contact support to exercise these rights.
